- Prepare 300 gm Boneless Chicken

- Take 1 tbsp vinegar
- Take 1 tbsp chilli sauce
- Get 1/2 tsp thyme
- Make ready White sauce
- Take 4 tbsp yoghurt
- Prepare 1/2 mayonnaise
- Get 1 tbsp white sesame seeds
- Take 1 tsp salt
- Take 1 tsp black pepper
- Get 2 tbsp olive oil
- Get Filling
- Prepare 1 cup cabbage shredded
- Make ready 2 cucumbers julienne
- Take 2 capsicums julienne
- Make ready 2 tomatoes julienne
- Take 1 tsp lemon juice
- Take 6 shawarma/pita breads
Instructions to make Chicken Shawarma:
- For marination. Wash and cut chicken into thin slices/cubes. In a bowl, add all the marination ingredients. Mix well. Leave aside for 1 hr.
- For red sauce. Blend all red sauce ingredients to form a smooth, thick paste. Set aside.
- For white sauce. Dry roast the sesame seeds till brown. Add to blender along with all other white sauce ingredients. Blend to form a smooth thick paste. Set aside.
- Wash and cut veggies for filling. Mix them in a large bowl and add lemon juice. Mix well and set aside.
- After 1 hr, fry the marinated chicken with 1 tbsp oil. Make sure there is no gravy left, and the chicken is fully dry.
- Add the fried chicken into the veggie mix. Mix well. Shawarma filling is ready.
- I used homemade shawarma bread. You can use store bought too. Slightly toast the bread. Spread the red sauce evenly.
- Spread filling on it evenly. Add white sauce on top. Roll into a shawarma. Serve with sauces and fries.
